Privacy policy

Draft. Effective date: [DATE]. Operator: [MIKE'S LEGAL NAME / COMPANY]. Contact: [privacy@DOMAIN].

What we collect

• Game progress (XP, level, streak, saved Sparks and a random anonymous player ID) is stored only in your browser's local storage. We don't create accounts. Clearing your browser data erases it.
• Usage analytics. We record anonymous events (pages viewed, rounds started and finished, Sparks saved, signups, return visits) tied to the random ID, plus the referring site and campaign tags, using [PostHog] without cookies. We use this only to learn which topics people enjoy and return to.
• Email address, only if you subscribe. It is stored by our email provider [MailerLite] and used to send the X-Ray email and occasional reminders if you stop playing. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Advertising

We buy ads on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. We do not currently place advertising pixels or tracking cookies on this site. If that changes, we will ask for consent where required and update this page first.

What we don't do

We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't use it for anything other than running this site and its email.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe at any time, clear your browser storage, or email [privacy@DOMAIN] to access or delete your email record. Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK or California), you may have additional rights, including access, correction, deletion and objection; contact us to exercise them.
